We believe children should be treated with equality, and their cultural, religious and linguistic diversity embraced and acknowledged.
With ongoing observations and evaluations our program will reflect the social and individual needs of each child to encourage and promote each child’s personal development, with a balance of active and quiet, rest time, indoor and outdoor activities and experiences.
We at Daisy Learning Centre will work together with parents using open communication and sharing of knowledge and skills to support them in their primary role as caregivers and provide them with information which will help in the development of their child.
Parents are encouraged to share and participate in the centre’s development, experiences and programming, and also with the cultural, religious and language of individuals and the community.
Daisy Learning Centre will provide staff who are welcoming and understanding who will also be experienced and qualified to tend to the needs of the centre, children and their families as well as the community, to provide top quality care.

Fees. Our fees are $69.00 per day.
Fees are payable in advance. On the first day of care, two weeks fees must be paid followed by weekly payment thereafter. Fees are banked on Tuesday's with receipts being placed in your communication pockets on this day.
As there is a long waiting list for places in the centre, non-payment of fees may result in your child losing his or her place in the centre. Fees will be charged for all absences including illness, holidays, public holidays and school holidays and for any extra days that your child may attend. The two-week Christmas break does not attract fees. Mutual beneficial arrangements are sometimes made for other children to take up your child's place when absences. Ask the Director for details.
All families are entitled to Child Care Assistance. Registration is available through Centrelink.
Child Care assistance (if applicable) should be applied for with Centrelink in time to commence from the first day of care, otherwise full fees will be charged. Assistance is available as a lump sum at the end of the financial year or as a deduction of weekly fees. Please contact 13 61 50 or visit for more information http://www.familyassist.gov.au/
Withdrawal of Children
Parents/guardians intending to withdraw their child must provide notice in writing at least four weeks in advance for any child leaving within the first three months of their commencing day care after the initial three months, two weeks notice will be required. If notice is not provided then four/two weeks fees in lieu will be charged.
Children may not be withdrawn during the last 6 weeks of the term unless the Management approves the withdrawal for extraordinary reasons. This regulation exists as the withdrawal of children in the last 6 weeks penalises remaining families who are then required to meet the shortfall in the costs of operating the centre for the remaining period of the year.

Parents are encouraged to be involved in the centre. To achieve this we encourage parents to attend gatherings, participate in the children's programs and make any suggestions in the daily running of the centre. The successful operation of the centre is based upon the active involvement of parents from all families.
While we all have very different careers, priorities and schedules, we have one thing in common. we all want the very best environment and care for our children and we are all incredibly busy.
